The Membership FAQ
For members only — the real answers, not the corporate version.
Where's What (the quick version)
New around here, or just can't remember where you saw a thing that one time? Start here.
The Basics
- The PDU Episode & Quiz Library — listen, quiz, done
- Members Only Happy Hour — live sessions with Kate & Kim, plus the community feed
- The Project Template Library — RAID logs, status reports, charters, the stuff you don't want to build from scratch at 4:45pm on a Friday
- Scripts to Own the Room — the exact language for the conversations you've been avoiding
No. We built this for working PMs, program managers, coordinators, delivery leads, and accidental PMs — certified or not. If you're responsible for getting a project across the finish line without full authority to make that happen, you're in the right place.
No. Listen to an episode on your commute. Show up to Happy Hour when you can. Skip it when you can't. This is built to fit around your actual job, not compete with it.
Community
Member conversation, a short skill-building segment on something real (scope, stakeholders, risk, decision-making), and open Q&A. Bring the project that's currently on fire. We've probably been in that meeting.
Show up when you can. This isn't attendance-tracked, and nobody's judging your calendar.
People respond. This is the "I'm the only PM in my building" fix — a place with other PMs who get why "just align the stakeholders" is not, in fact, a plan.
They're yours to use and adapt. Take the RAID log, the status template, the charter — whatever — and make it work for your project.
Templates are the documents you fill in. Scripts are the words you say out loud — what to say when a sponsor keeps moving the goalposts, how to escalate without sounding dramatic, how to ask for a decision instead of another status update. Different tool, same goal: getting unstuck.
Billing & Subscription
$35/month, or save 20% by paying annually.
Yes — 7 days, full access. If it's not useful, cancel before it ends and you won't be charged.
Cancel anytime, no questions asked, no guilt trip. Head to your account settings in Kajabi and cancel from there — no email, no retention call, no "but wait."
If your subscription runs through PayPal, cancel it there instead of in Kajabi:
- On the web: Log into PayPal, go to Settings (the gear icon) → Payments tab → Manage Automatic Payments. Find “Project Management Happy Hour” or “Dobre Consulting Services” (that's us, our parent company) and select Stop Paying with PayPal.
- On mobile: Open the PayPal app, go to Activity → Manage Subscriptions, and cancel from there.
- Stuck? Email us at podcast@pmhappyhour.com with “PLEASE CANCEL” in the subject or body, and we'll take care of it from the back end.
Yes — reach out and we'll get your billing switched. No penalty for changing your mind.
PDUs already earned and uploaded to PMI are yours — that record doesn't disappear. You just won't earn new ones once your membership ends.
No. PDU uploads only process for active members. If you cancel during the trial, PDUs from that period don't get submitted. If you're close to a certification deadline, factor that in before you cancel.
PMI & PDUs
Listen to a podcast episode, take the short quiz that goes with it, pass it. That's it.
No — that's the whole point. We handle the upload to PMI for you. No spreadsheets, no manual entry, no tracking down which webinar you half-listened to in March.
This varies by episode — check the specific episode page in the PDU library for the PDU count and category before you queue it up, especially if you're trying to hit a specific Talent Triangle mix before a renewal deadline.
We upload in batches at the beginning of each month — so quizzes you pass in July show up in your PMI account in August, not the same day. Plan around that if you're racing a certification deadline. If it's been more than a month and you still don't see it, reach out and we'll sort it out.
Account & Access
Everything — the course, the community, your account settings — is inside our Kajabi portal. Use the same email you signed up with.
Don't fight with it — contact us directly at podcast@pmhappyhour.com and we'll sort it out. Tech gremlins happen; you shouldn't have to debug them alone.
Still stuck? Email podcast@pmhappyhour.com — a human will actually answer.
